Winter birches at Bole Hill

The  first snowfall of the season in the Peak District of Derbyshire only lasted 24Hrs but there was enough time for me to try out my newly acquired Canon Eos1d MkII Digital camera for the first time in snowy conditions.
Shooting in Raw format, the highlight detail was handled extremely well.
