work dictates the need for flash, then this is flashgun set-up that
I use. |
| Flight Logistics Much of
my Landscape Photography is planned in advance and it is useful to
know the position of the sun beforehand. |

Sandisk CompactFlash
cards The Canon Eos1D Mark II and the Canon Eos1Ds Mark II can write images extremely fast, so I needed a memory card that could quickly record images to avoid waiting between shots. At the time of buying my CompactFlash cards Extreme IV were the best available. These cards are capable of recording images faster than my camera can write them. |

Epson P4000 This Digital device allows me to transfer and store 80Gb of images in from my Compact Flash cards or my Secure Digital cards in J-Peg or Raw format. I can view my images in fine detail due to the high resolution 3.8” Photo Fine colour LCD screen. |

TRIPODS
A lot of people would not include a tripod in
their equipment list but it is such a vital item in obtaining sharp
images.
I have finally bought a Carbon Fibre Tripod in an effort to reduce weight and this model is light sturdy and relatively inexpensive ( can be bought for £150 )
I bought this tripod for taking on holiday. It fits in my suitcase and it is lightweight but still very sturdy. |
